Has 34 years engineering experience with the oil and gas industry as Project Manager, Project Engineer and Mechanical Engineer.

Experience with conceptual design, detailed design, construction supervision, commissioning and start of process equipment. Has experience with rotating equipment trouble shooting.

Has developed bolt tensioning programs for Heat Exchangers and Piping flanges for electronic processing. Has experience in solving leaking flanges.  After the closure of the Stigsnæs refinery, these programs were transferred to me, and formed the basis for PEER ENGINEERING  until its closure.

Developed time schedule and estimates for the demolishing of the refinery.
1996-1997
Kuwait Petroleum (Denmark) A/S Gulfhavn Refinery Project Manager and Mechanical Engineer.
Project for converting one hydrodesulphurizer into deep desulphurisation and dearomatization for production of environmental Class I diesel for Sweden and installation of a PACKINOX plate heat exchanger in an existing Platformer unit. Responsible for Time Schedule (CA Super Project) and budget. Project completed in time and within budget.

Kuwait Petroleum (Denmark) A/S Gulfhavn Refinery Project Manager and Mechanical Engineer.
Pilot Project for above project. Engineering started in  August 1992 and project was operable in February 1993. Completed on time and schedule.

Kuwait Petroleum (Denmark) A/S Gulfhavn Refinery Mechanical Engineer.
Established Standard Piping System for Kuwait Petroleum (Danmark) A/S. The system included 56 Piping Classes and has been approved by the Danish Authorities as a standard piping system. The piping system is based on ANSI B 31-3 Code For Pressure Piping , Chemical Plant and Petroleum Piping.

Kuwait Petroleum (Denmark) A/S Gulfhavn Refinery Mechanical Engineer.
Establishing EDP (Lotus and later Excel work sheets) flange deflection programs to calculate flanges under internal pressure. The programs are based on ASME VIII div.1 and uses the flange rotation to determine the required bolt load for leak tight operation. Establishing procedures for bolt tensioning.

Started using ALGOR Pipi Plus software to calculate piping stresses and deflection. System has been used to determine revamp of vibrating furnace transfer line. The revamp worked.

Kuwait Petroleum Europoort Refinery Holland
Staff Engineer
Review and approval of Basic Engineering, Project Specifications, Equipment Specifications and Equipment lay out for a Continuos Regeneration Platformer Unit. The Engineering  work took place in California, England and Holland together  with a major US contractor. Project Cost 150 Million US$.

Worked as calculator in the steam turbine rating department. Developed a new series of industrial condensing turbines covering the range 6 to 63 MW. Has worked as trouble shooter for turbine blade failures.
