Click on the sketches to see a larger version.

You will need the following materials to make a repair:
  1.  Ø5 mm O-ring string suitable for oil, cut to 175 mm length.
  2. Ø5 mm gasoline hose parted in two and cut to a length of 195 mm..
  3. Glue suitable for gluing the O-ring and the parted gasoline hose, such as Loctite 406
Procedure:
 See Pictures.
  1. The Steel ring and the faulty gasket are removed. The steel ring will be reused. The facings areas  and the areas around are cleaned and oiled.
  2. The 5 mm O-ring is cut to a length of 175 mm. The ends are ground true and clean.
  3. The O-ring is placed around the lever arm and glued. When the clue has cured, place the ring in place.
  4. The gasoline hose is parted in half. Can be nicely done if the hose is placed between two wooden boards before cutting. The parted hose is cu to a length of 195 mm. The ends are ground and the hose is placed around the lever arm and glued. After curing, oil the o-ring and hose and bring  in place.
  5. The Original steel ring is brought in place, and the repair is completed.
